Hi Ladies, sorry about not joining in chat last night, I was suppose to be there but fell asleep and woke up at 2 am and then stay awake until 4. I am so busy , that I feel like santa clause who needs to check his list twice, lol. I made a list of things to do for the next 2 days, phone calls to do and deliver the cats, etc. On top of that, the buyers want a walk thru tomorrow nite with the realtor, so I can show them the fuse box and where all the light switches are. Also good news, I now have 6 interviews, I can't believe it. I am doing two phone interviews and two in Roanke Friday afternoon as well as the ones in Lynchburg. I know that I will get offer one of these jobs, decent starting salary of 30,000 plus with great benefits. I am remembering to breathe and exhale :) and that this too shall pass. I am so excited to get down there and see the apt. and getting it all set up. I have to buy everything, furniture, not too much, towels,pots/pans,etc. It is kind of nice going into an empty space because I can see how big the rooms are and what I will need for furniture. That is me for now and I will post one more time on Wed. am, I have been housesitting for the past 4 days and will be here until Wed. so I have access to a computer. Take care, gracemae59

Gracemae,

You sure have made steady progress. I hope you get the job you want. How long of a drive will you have to get to your apt.?

I hope everything continues to go smooth and you will be "home" for the weekend.

Take care,

Hugs,

Laurie

Hi Laurie, the drive is about 10-12 hrs. The plan is I am leaving from St. Johnsbury after all the errands are done from the closing around 4 pm ish. I am then going to go to Brattleboro which is about 3.5 hrs. but I traveled that stretch of interstate many many times when my oldest daughter was in residental care down. So I can do the drive in about 2 hrs. I am staying overnight at hotel then leaving at 1 am and travel to Va, thru 84 to 81. I then will be making a 2 hr stop in VA to have breaksfast with friends at 9 then on to Roanoke which I will arrive around 1:30-2 pm. I pu on the keys at the realtor and on to the apt. Call it crazy, but I have a phone interview at 4 pm that day. After that and unloading the car myself, the dog and I will find the natural food store and home and then crash. So that is me :) gracemae59

I am so happy that things are working out great for you. You be careful driving ... take breaks, drink water, stretch your legs, and watch that speed limit. Ok yes, I'm being a mother hen, LOL !

I hope you have a great visit with your friends, I'm sure you will :o)

Big hugs,

Robin
