Eye candy & telepathic communication....

Okay, most of you know that I am extremely partial to butches and bois when it comes to romance (and y'all also know when I start a thread with "okay" that it's probably gonna be one of my long winded stories)...

Anyway, my mom, who's been staying with me off and on, has been house hunting for almost a year now. I've gone with her on countless expeditions to see who knows how many houses/condos/townhomes...it gets pretty tiresome, especially when I've just gotten home from work and all I want to do is kick back with a glass of wine and watch some tv but no - there she is, purse in arm, waiting to pounce on me the second I come in the door so we can go look at yet another money pit in one area or another.

This morning she woke me early, apparently she found a condo in a brand new subdivision and she wanted to take a look-see so she needed the computer to look it up (which is in my room). About half an hour later she's dressed and ready to go! So I got my lazy butt up off the couch, threw on a pair of ragged jeans under my oversized t-shirt and a pair of flip flops, tied my hair back and I was ready to go.

When we first got there and met the realtor in the sales office, I did not take notice right away. She was not what I usually notice anyway, but I did like her hot black pantsuit and leather sling-back heels. I aknowledged her great sence of style (of course, her work wardrobe and mine are probably very similar). As we got to the first condo (we looked at three), I noticed her amazing hair cut, and how well it framed her face. She had the perfect hair-do for her face. Then I noticed the eyes - big, round, amazingly blue eyes spaced perfectly apart and proportioned to the rest of her face. Then the cute little nose, and then (omg girls this is the breaker here) those big, full, scrumtious lips painted oh-so-perfectly...The more I looked at this woman, the harder it was to look away. Following to the second condo, my eyes stayed focused on her ummmmmm, gleuts(?) and what a butt!!!!! *dang* So as she and my mom talked ammenities and stuff, I remained bent slightly over the kitchen counter, cheeks resting in my hands, pondering this georgeous femme (arguably the hottest femme in Houston). I suddenly made eye contact with my mom, which is where the telepathic conversation starts :

Mom - "stop that"

Me - "me?" *big innocent look* "what?"

Mom - "I mean it"

Me - *pout*

Well, going to the third (and final) condo, I behaved and didn't look at her again except to shake her beautiful manicured soft hand goodbye.

Getting into the car, I asked my mom "What!?!?!" She looked at me with her tired-but-I'll-tell-you-anyway expression and said "You were ogling her, and it was very transparent. That's not becomming of you, and if she knew what was going through your head.........I can't take you anywhere." Hey! I was too busy taking in the eye candy - I don't even REMEBER what was going through this head of mine!!!!!

~sigh. Hey, maybe if I start ogling ALL the realtors from now on, dear old mom will quit dragging me along. That's a thought...

That was funny, Sadie, lol! When ever I go out with my mom, I know that she's looking at me to see if I'm looking, too! But I play it off and say that I was admiring the object of my scrutiny's clothes. Of course, I inherited my father's charm, and it get's me in trouble. But just because I'm with my mom, that doesn't stop me from working it.

Hugs!

Haaaaa sadie, busted!

My mom has busted me plenty. She always says, I know what your doing and you better stop it before Sheila throws you out on the street.

I only like to playfully flirt, not trying to pick anyone up.

My heart belongs to my Sheila of 7 1/2 years. And I am happily commited to her.

Sometimes I don't even realize that I am being flirty.

Sheila will just say, "My honey likes to flirt, doesn't she?"

I look at it more like being nice and friendly instead of a boring nasty customer.

Maybe you should set up more appts. with the eye candy.

Hugs, Laurie
