Anyway, it looks as if my dad has finally sold that white elephant of a house in suburbia, which means my mom can FINALLY get a mortgage and buy her dream home (which also gets her out of my apartment). The condo place I was talking about the other day, where I met eat-your-heart-out-drop-dead-georgeous-my-place-or-yours-femme may be where she ends up. This place has those hardi-plank siding condos painted in pastel colors - pink, green, yellow, and LAVENDER!!!!! OMG, the floorplan that best suits her needs was one of the lavender houses, and it was soooooooo cute (of course, she'll be moving back to Pcola in the next few years and I'll more than likely end up buying her house from her) so I'm pushing the lavender house on her, in a BIG way!!! How cool would that be? Me in a lavender house??? Okay, I know I probably sound retarded right now and "what's the big deal?" Well, it's a cute place, in a great area, and it's lavender! My color! *giggle*
Anyway, I'm moving around the end of the year (my lease is up in Feb). I've found a 2/1.5 condo, located smack in the center of *gaytown Houston* for a very reasonable price. I have to sign the lease in Dec or I'll lose it and will probably not have this opportunity again for years and years. It's not far from the condo my mom is thinking of buying, so she'll still be around alot (not a bad thing, but at least this way one of us can go HOME). Oh! and I can WALK to my favorite les bar from the apartment! And cable is paid for (I get to watch the L Word for freeeeeeeee). Life could be better, but it could also be a whole lot worse!

First off, thanks for the wish. Things are getting better on my end as the days is going on. One day ( or minute at a time, huh ? ) is the way I have to go.
As for the condo ... big WHOOOOO -HOOOOO to you !!! It sounds really cute !
Great big hugs to you,
Robin

At night we walked to the bars and had an excellent time there. It is an awesome place.
All the trees there were cut into animal shapes.
Small world.

btw, I meant to comment on your websight earlier. The pics that actually downloaded were amazing! I finally gave up after about 20 minutes on the last 8 (I was at work on DSL, not even gonna attempt to view them here on dial up).

I am not sure why but sometimes I don't get them all downloaded either. I made them pretty small files for quicker downloading so I am not sure what the deal is.
I will let you know if I ever get back there.
I love the gay community there. Very active. And they were so friendly to us. They took us to a huge lesbian bar that had a sand volly ball court outside. This was after the show which had sold out so there were gazilions of lesbians everywhere. Oh what a time we had in Houston! It was one of the best places! Hot! But, very nice.
