Long overdue check in ....

Hi all,

Long time, no post. I have been struggling for a year now to find a job and still no luck. I had an interview this morning with Northrop Grumman. It went OK although I had a weak spot for the position (not much experience doing dynamics ... I'm a mechanical engineer) and I'm not sure I convinced the two guys who interviewed me that I can study up and do dynamics with no big problems. I hear from them in a day or two.

I put the candle on my post because I got the sad and sudden news last week that my therapist has passed away. It is going to be so strange not going to therapy tomorrow night. My therapist's backup called me up last week and met with me in person to tell me about her death. It is not clear yet how she died and its bugging me not knowing. Why would it be important to me to know that?? I will be looking for a new therapist soon. Sigh ... this is not what I needed after a long fruitless job search with my finances dwindling.

On a brigher note, I'm still with Charlotte. As a matter of fact we are taking the plunge soon and moving in with each other. Charlotte will be moving in with me in my condo. She hopes to be moved in by the end of this month. We are both a bit scared of living together but also excited about it. We will definetely have adjusting to do in terms of how we can each get our needed alone time and space while living together.

((((((((((Cathy)))))))))))) It's good to see you back. Sorry the job search has not been successful up to this point, but hopefully something will come through soon. And I'm sorry to hear about your therapist. I remember from your previous posts how important she was to you. I hope you can find someone else who will be a good fit for you. It's wonderful that you and Charlotte are doing so well. Good luck with the move and hope to see more of you here!

Oh My Gosh! (((((((Cathy))))))) So great to see you post and find your way back here to us..
So very sorry about your therapist.. I know how you looked forward to your times with her and of course you want to know what happened to her.. She has been a part of your life now for a long while and it's a closure type of thing.. So (((sorry Hon)))
Boy the job scene can really be a real pain.. I know.. My bestest friend /partner ~S~ had a long duration also with it..
I do hope this that you are waiting to hear from is something that will work out for you and you can settle in and feel better somewhat..
I am glad you and CCC as I knew her(Charlotte)are doing so well together.. Much luck to both of you with the move in together thing..
Space is important but with caring and respect I am sure you both will work it through..
Glad your back Hon..

Its so great to hear from you again! I've missed seeing you around.

I am so sorry to hear about your therapist, I know you really liked her. This must be so difficult.

The job search must really be getting stressful. I hope something comes knocking soon.

Glad to heard things with Charlotte are still going well. That is so great. Congrats on moving in together, it is a big step, but well worth it.

Hugs!
