Oh Kim, It's too late, I don't have the energy to try and fight the system...I have my own little war going on in my own home I can't focus on anything else. Even if I could, I need to get a job, I have so many things I should be doing. My only consolation about not getting to vote is that I made Jen register and she is voting for Kerry today. There's one vote he wouldn't have had without me - so it's kinda like I voted, just did it through my girl. Thanks for your concern, don't worry about Kerry - have faith and remember the Truman election - no one thought he would win! That was supposed to be a landslide vistory for Dewey (I think that was his name) LOL Sandra

Hey, I was going to invite her! My family is very accepting,
my dear sister paved the way and you won't hear any
negative GLBT comments around our dinner table. Maybe
jokes, but not serious ones. Sandra

Well then, that's a horse of a different color!

OK, I very much agree with you, and went to get my ballot only to find out it also needs notarized, I don't even know where to find a notary public, or a post office is still open. I know, excuses, excuses. They win. Thanks for trying Kim, hugs - Sandra

Well, I've already promised grandma that I'm bringing a blueberry pie for Thanksgiving. Thanks anyway. I have met someone on PlanetOut. I hope that I can at least make some local friends. I didn't expect to become so nervous after exchanging a couple of emails with her. I guess because I've never been that close to someone before in distance.

Anyway, me thinks if you have chocolate, I'll be there. :)

Count your lucky stars Sandra that you have such an accepting family. My grandmother made a comment once that if she found out one of her children were gay she would never stop crying. With her now having a heart condition, I've decided that it wouldn't be a good idea to come out to her.

And, my mother will not talk about it. She knows, but refuses to talk.
