Got up early this morn to take my son to SAT's.....as it turns out he screwed up registration so he went back to bed.....being that i had already started on my Starbucks I grabbed TommyGirl (the dog not the lover) and we headed down to the beach. A beautiful, Sunny fall day....we walked and walked and chased seagulls, hid from one human in the reeds (dogs are not allowed on the beach) we discovered horseshoe crabs and mini tumbleweeds. Home now to two jealous dogs. We have a dozen DD bagels for when the rest of the troops wake up. Remind me if I ever say were moving that I can't be far from the beach. Have a good weekend ladies.

That sounds so wonderful!

Well, except for the horseshoe crabs. Those things scare me. I don't care what the scientists say, I think they're man-eaters. :)

Going down to the beach sounds like a wonderful idea! I could use a reconnection with the ocean. I really need it to reground myself. Good idea, Soozi!

I'll remind you because that is exactly how I feel. I am glad you had a nice morning, I think I just might go to the beach today myself! Thanks for the idea - hugs, Sandra

The wonderful thing about living on Lake Erie, is that although it has all the same qualities of the ocean beach (sand, waves, rocks, seashells) it is freshwater, not saltwater. No crabs, no jellyfish, no sharks! I love the miles and miles of beaches available at Lake Erie, on the peninsula, we even have a gay beach!Sandra
