(((((((((Kim))))))) Glad you found some consolation. Sounds like you've got some positive outlets for dealing with the stress and emotional pain. You and Courtney

Thanks Kim, I really do appreciate you sharing that. I hope that you are feeling much better now. I don't feel as though you're trying to convert me at all. I like to read other sermons, put forth by open-minded clergy. My minister is just as open-minded. But, I haven't given up hope, because I know in my heart, that the Creator has the last say in everything.

Gentle hugs.

Hugs,

Sebastian

Wow! I can see how that could touch you Kim. It makes so much sense and say's what I have felt, thought, etc.

I believe that God speaks through people (you know what I mean) His sermon must have been a gift or message from God, to let us know that we are okay and that people can be ignorant and judgemental. In my belief that is what the story of Jesus is about. That people were so ignorant and judgemental of him preaching a different religion that they crucified him. And people still crucify people today just because they are different and might cause change.

But that we can go on living with our own faith, hope love, and charity. To me the story of Jesus applies to many things today. It is up to us to continue having faith in what we believe and to help others have faith and eventually we will be accepted as a normal part of society. We have come such a long way and we still have a long way to go. But we should not let the faith of what we believe in die.

Hugs even though you are not huggy,
Laurie

Bigotry will not die completely until it is forgotten, but it will
have less and less power over us. I'm truly sorry that you
are forced by society to be at the point of the issue just
because you are who you are. We will win finally.

Wow!
