Alone has it's good points - but you know - life works in mysterious ways and you never know who may come into your life. I have been on a rollercoaster ride of a lifetime this year and one thing I learned is not to borrow trouble. You never know what tomorrow may bring so cross bridges as you get to them. Make yourself available and open to new friendships. DOn't find a house or apartment to rent that is secluded, your new best friend might be right next door....you will be ok (((Butterfli)))

We can never be truly good company for others if we cannot be good company for ourselves.

Yes, and it is just that this one caught me right after my first therapy session with sheila and my therapist. So we left our baggage in her office.

Therapy went so well for us and we get to go weekly for awhile. Then we plan to go out to dinner to a different place each week and talk about our session. It was really nice and Sheila liked it too. It opened our eyes to some things too.

I hope you are having a great weekend,

Hugs,
Laurie

I have left it behind, for as long as I can.

My life is good.

It could be better.

but, then, it could be worse.

All in all, life is very, very good to me.

I am happy.

Yes it is worth it.

The love and friendship is as strong as ever! We both feel like this is a forever relationship. We would be married if it were permitted.

We just need to figure out how to resynch the libidos lol.

We think the meds and stress of sheila's job could have a lot to do with it because the attractions are still there and we do show affection etc. Just lacking in the sex department. That is so far the only flaw we seem to have, and it would not be a flaw if I could live without it. She won't let me have a slave girl or start my lesbian escort service so we have to do therapy, lol.

The thing is I did put out an ad for a sex slave on the internet at one of those sights and actually have had four takers. My friend Art put me up to it for fun. Sheila is okay with it as long as I don't take them up on it.

I just never expected to get any real responses, and now Art is jealous because he didn't get any responses on his ad except for one old man and Art is straight. Lol.

Hugs,

Laurie
