Hello everyone, last week the second transmission went in the car, so the car sat for the week, then I had it towed to AAMCO transmission shop, found out the garage in Ct used old parts and I was charged for 885.00. I did ask the garage in Ct for the 850. for the transmission to be refunded as it was still under warranty. Ugh~ , also all I had to do with the landlord is mention health dept. and legal aid and tenant rights, I have now working lights , plush carpet with underneath padding, deadbolt on the door and entry hall lights. I am applying today for 5 jobs and sending them out. My mood is getting better and I am starting to feel relaxed. Virginia is a pretty state and can't wait to explore the countryside and some hiking trails. The dog is doing as well as expected.I discover a library within walking distance and today will explore downtown Roanoke and look for the YMCA. As for the car, I will pay to get it fix and start saving for my new Chevy S10 pickup for the spring. I want a new one, well 2004 would be fine.

I spoke with Robin, she has a parttime job at Dunkin Donuts, starting today. She is doing well and can't wait to start making some money.

Everyone have a great week :) gracemae59

Hi Pam, I had the phone interview but never heard anything more. That is okay, I will find something here in Roanoke. Take care. I am hoping to have a computer by the end of the week. gracemae59
