Hehe I just had to share the coolest thing that happened at work last night..

Im not sure if I had posted a few weeks ago that I had one of the residents come up and ask me if I was gay.

That is so cool. I have never been afraid to come out but you never really know how it will be taken at work. It turned out that everywhere I have worked and told my bosses, they all either knew someone or had a family member that was gay. In fact, the one that I wasn't sure about telling, has a sister that is gay. After I told him, he teased me about all kinds of stuff that normally straight people don't like to talk about! It was really cool. That was where I worked when I started dating Brandi, she was my asst mgr at Wolf Camera. She was the reason I started working there. Unfortunatly, I pissed off a girl that was drinking Fosters in the bathroom and she told on us when she got fired and Brandi had to transfer to another one but by that time we were living together and had our Holy Union already! That's great Caly! I know my being out has opened my mom's and step-dad's eyes too. Many of their friends are gay or lesbian. And their friends are all out to them now.
It also helped that some of their friends were all ready out to them when I came out to them.
They all travel together to Vegas and florida and have parties here etc. So it was sort of helpful to me.
It seems like when people find out you are lesbian they don't mind telling you about their friends and or family members.
I am glad you are coming out more.
Hugs,
Laurie

Great job on coming out more... I'm glad it was well-recieved :)

I agree, there are more of us out there than we think sometimes. Two of the professors in the department at school are gay. They are very open about it. In fact, they are a couple. Its pretty cool. I have one of them for one of my classes this semester. However, they both voted for >ahem< Bush. So that takes them down a few notches in my book.

Thanks for sharing Caly!
