Hi everyone, the transmission shop called it is going to cost another 2,200.00 to fix the car this time the front axles are gone from all the front end damage. The mechanic states that it is worth fixing because of the age and mileage. The garage in Ct refuses to send the money owe to me, there is a 90 day warranty but they refuse to honor. So the car stays at the shop and I sign the title over until the repairs are paid in full. I am thinking about 6 months. Good news, I was out with the dog and 1 block down I saw a rent sign in this beautiful Victoria house. I called and visited, the apt. is first floor studio, with enclosed sun porch, washer/dryer, hardwood floors, new applicances, I can have a garden space, own parking. All this for 395.00 includes everything, and it is clean, clean and lots of sun!!. I put a deposit and will move next Sat. Still no jobs, went to Kelly Services register. Three other temp agencies won't register me because I am overqualified. So I keep on going each, life continues to be a rollercoast, oh the best new I got a letter from the woman who took Zack, the cat, he is indoor and adjusted well. I cried when I read the letter, I havent'even begun to greive the lost of my beautiful pets. I miss them terribly. At the library and got to go. Have a great day, gracemae59

Thanks for checking in Gracemae. I'm sorry to hear that things are so rough right now. I'm really sorry to hear about your car... are you still going to be able to go on job interviews and get to work after you find a job and everything without your car? Do you have written proof of your warranty with the other car repair shop? So you have any way to get them to cover this?

I hope the new house works out, it sounds much better than where you are right now.

Good luck, keep in touch.

Hugs!
