butch femme questions

I am currently trying to figure out where i fit in with the whole butch femme thing. I have never used labels for myself and was pretty annoyed with the whole thing until I figured out months ago that it came from homophobia that I internalized. I am attracted to "butch" women. But that does not always mean just the way they look.

If I am making any sense:)
does anyone know what i mean?

Hello ladygold, my name is Gigi. And I am a butch. Now I don't have a picture of myself to show, because for one, I don't have a scanner, for two, I'm a bit shy.

I really don't know what a butch woman looks like, I just look like me. And I have a masculine appearance. There are some lesbians that look masculine, but are very feminine.

I've been told by many people that didn't know me, they thought that I was a man, but after realizing that I have breasts and hearing my voice, they suddenly become embarrassed and quickly appologize. Of course, upon their apology, I begin to laugh and tell them that's it's ok, that I get that type of reaction all of the time.

But sometimes there are guys that say, "what's up brother?" and I say in return, "not much, hoss!" Now, they have one of two reactions one, they stop in their tracks, look a little closer, or the laugh and apologize, and not to mention the women do the same thing, except all of a sudden they become very flirtatious or become shocked when they hear my voice. At which time, I either flirt back or laugh and blush. So, I know for myself, it all depends on the situation and the people I come into contact with. I hope that that helps, if not then, I'm sorry.

Hugs,

Sebastian

I guess I am kinda like you. I am girly but I dont wear makeup but I like girly clothes. Then again, i like to wear my flannel too...LOL! I dont wear dresses unless I am at a funeral or something. I like my jeans a little tight and my shirts a little short, not too short but enough to show my rainbow fairey tat on my lower back. Havent worn those clothes since I had my Baby though- too much chunck around the old sexy spots and the old clothes dont fit and prob never will with the way I am going! I am not attracted to either butch or femme only. My girl is a little inbetween. She is an obvious but inside is very femme and has sorta long hair. I have a pic down in the intro spot. Just take a look if you want. Mandi

Thanks for all of your takes on the femme/butch discussion:)
I feel like I'm comming out all over again, trying to work out what was real or just something I told myself.

I have always been happy being me and didn't really think about other ways of being

not to late I guess:)
