Thanks Kim, I have a feeling that this is our year of making advances for equality in marriage and such.

Hugs!

"It helps legitimize our relationship to others," Johnson said. "And in that regard, if you get treated differently, you sort of feel like family with the rest of the world, and that can bring you closer together."

That's my sentiment exactly! Who needs added strain on their relationship over others not accepting them as a couple.

I think my favorite part of it all is this...
"They also will have automatic parental status over children born during the relationship.."
AWESOME!

Thanks for the update Kim, we're going to get there in our lifetime. I really believe that.

On another note, you gave us all a link to a website a while back and I lost the link. There was a cool tee shirt that said "ssshhh, no one knows I am a lesbian". I want that shirt and can't find it. I found a similar shirt at another site but it wasn't as cool, the font was different. Do you remember where it was?

Hugs, Sandra

Hmmm... this explains the call I recently got from my company's HR Department, asking if I had registered my domestic partnership. I didn't know what she was talking about. She said she didn't know too much about it but that it was advantageous to me. She said she would get back to me when she knew more about it.

It's a first step!
