Razor burn, help....

Does anyone know how to make razor burn/bumps go away or prevent it? I dont know what has changed but since I had my daughter every time I shave (anywhere) I get it really bad. It seriously makes me not want to anymore but I am not about to go there! I have tried several different razors and creams but no luck. I used to be able to shave with baby oil and not get it but now even my underarms are bad and I have never had it there before. Any suggestions are very appreciated!

Gigi, You are so damn cute...you rock! I am very impressed with your individuality - here we are all fighting nature and you are comfortable in your own skin. Good for you! OK, Jen will kill me for saying this but when she doesn't shave her underarms I think it's sexy. *blush* At first I thought it was weird, but now I don't mind at all. I love her however she is most comfortable.

I forgot to add to my previous post that I also have underarm hair. Sometimes it can get outrageous and sometimes I have to shave them, too. But majority of the time, I just use the good ole clippers there, too!

Awww, thanks for the compliment. As the saying goes, I gotta be me!

Thanks for the compliment.

Hugs!

Mandi,

I would highly recommend not shaving anymore and go to waxing instead.

I kinda got scared away from waxing when I worked at Sally's Beauty Supply. I got one of those home kits and well it took forever first of all then when the hair started growing back it was all ingrown hairs... OUCH!!! I have never been prof done before...guess it couldnt hurt to try it. well it will hurt but yall know what I mean. thanks for the suggestion. I like a smooth body and it would be great not to have to worry with it too much. I have also thought about those machines that kill the hair folicle. that would be wonderful!

you are so funny! I used to use some great shave cream for sensitive skin till I read that using aresols (sp) causes asthma in small children so I stopped using them in the house and I have tried shaving outside (camping at the lake for a week) and it was not so easy! how come everone's name is coming up unknown? I am confused...

Your name is showing on my screen too, but most names aren't. I only see me and you and Gigi and Kim and Caly....OH, now Laurie's is back. Maybe they are fixing it....
