So...you want to quit smoking?

In reading several posts; I get the feeling that some people would really like to stop smoking. Hard thing to do, however, I have found that the following questions have helped many people make the right decision, and they have stucked to it without any medical assistance. So.....answer the questions and later I will post the answer....It's a visual thing! :)

Would you go out to your garage, pick up a can of motor oil, and drink it?

Tell me why not?

Just answer the questions truthfully; go with me on this one! :)

Thank you sandralea,
I really do recommend the patch when you decide to quit. I am on day 2 with no problem.
I have been smoking for 32 years and have never once quit before. But so far this is not bad at all.
Hugs,
Laurie

Hi and thank you.
I am cheating by using the patch.
I started smoking when I was 12 and I will be 45 in March. I want to be not smoking for my b-day.
So far so good with the patch and the mind set. Especially because of this thread.
Today is day 2.
Hugs,
Laurie

Laurie,

Wow, congratulations! I'm glad that you posted the good news! :) The patch is a good thing to do and I don't consider that as cheating. I'm glad the VA hospital was able to hook you up; that's a wonderful benefit.

My son had a LAN computer party with 6 guys here last night and I haven't been able to get back on until this morning. Reading your post was a wonderful thing to wake up to.

Champaign will work just fine. What kind of cheese do you prefer? I like swiss, muenster, and provolone.

If my business goes well in the next year or two, that balloon won't be far off!

Remember where your source of strength comes from; the battle has already been won! :)

Hi and thank you halo,
Those are some of my favorite cheeses also. I do like cheddar as well.
If you get that ballon I really want to go balooning! I would love to take photos, eat cheese and french bread and drink wine or Champagn. I have ballon pics on my web sites.
Take care,
Hugs,
Laurie
