Not a problem with building a computer. My son is an expert. What do you want to do? He can build you a top of the line computer $2000.00. It would be the fatest running computer on the market. He can work with less depending on your needs. The top one can run anything. What do you need the computer for? What kind of programs do you want to run? He can configure it and set up the fire walls, stop pop ups, etc.

Would you like to talk to him?

This sounds like an awesome deal.
I had one built to my specs once and it was great. It's just that IT even became out dated. I went with the Mac G-4'S, one is a laptop which is my favorite and one is the desktop. Next we will be getting a PC for Sheila. But, she is becoming a Mac lover now so maybe not.
I do alot of photo, video, editing and sound work so I need a computer that can handle everything and sometimes many things at once.
It is also awesome with games.
You can also buy software that lets the Mac run Windows and Word etc.
I just do not really miss those things with everything the Mac does and has to offer.
I would not get less than a Mac G4 or G5.
I am sure if it is built for what you want it will do what you need. At least it did for me.
Now caly has a different story so just make sure you tell the person who is building or selling what you need and want to use it for.
It never hurts to do a bit of research either. Read PC or Mac magazines to see what is out there and what they can do for you. Also research online.
Hugs to all,
Laurie

just my thoughts.....I feel I am not that computer wise.I have had two built...they have sucked....next time I will go with dell or best buy or someplace I can get it serviced as someone said.I also agree that custom built well depends on who is building it,yet normally they are the only ones who should work on it when it breaks down....I want to go with the mack daddy top of the line gaming and music machine from dell myself....."dude I am getting a dell(one day)"lol....have a great one,Jo

Hi Lee,
There are probably a lot of people or places to have your computer worked on if it ever needs done. A computer is a computer.
People who know them can work on all of them. We have a place here called Computer Renasance. They work on all computers. We also have people who come to your home so there is no need to gather it all up and take it somewhere. I like that option the best.
I used to buid them and had to for school. Trust me the person who built it does not have to do the work on it.
I, of course... would make a house call if you would just call. Haahaahaa.
It's been awhile since I properly flirted with you Lee.
Did that just send you??
Hugs,
Laurie
