In the still of the night

Last night the bar was packed, new faces, friends to greet me, and a memory that sustained me throughout the night. Alone I stood watching the women dance as if riding on the wind. I anxiously wait for time to slip away, my minds eye looking for her, thinking of her, wanting her. When I sang her song, my voice sang out and the people gazed with wonder, as I look far beyond a distance, envisioning her standing there smiling at me. Tonight I am hers. My thoughts of her were bouncing off the moon, who knew, that silence awaited my return. I rush home, to search for a word from her, no message; the boards are silent, and I sit here in the still of the night, while all of you are stead fast snuggled in your beds. Shes on my mind...

Good night my dream girl....

I hear Indianapolis is a great place to live and we even have an International Airport.
But then again I might ground you. You understand that right?
Never give up on love. Never.

Girl,

You are so funny, ;)

Look Va is not a bad place either. There's a VA hospital right here in town, an International airport, 2 hours to the beach, two hours to the mountains, three hours to the OTBX,.....and hey, one hot chick!!!!! ;) Well, so I'm told? ANd, I hear some chick has been lurking around a local venue singing, and waiting for her dream girl to come in and sweep her off her feet. Hey, you started this one!

Oh yeah lets not forget a very huge house! ;0

Did someone call a u-haul dealer?

Girl,

Seriuosly, welcome back. It feels good to have fun with you. I have to tell you tho, the girls did a good job of grounding me at chat Sunday. You would have been proud of them. They also kept me involved with the chat, cuz at first I felt all alone, and then kept getting booted off. I felt like a jack in the box!

Hmmmm did you know that my last duty station was at Norfolk Naval Station. At the Nval Air Station.
I lived in Va. Beach.
I know the Hershy Bar.
I know my way around VA.
I did love it there.
My pilot, do not give up hope. Maybe I need to come down there and cheer you up!
Now be a soldier about it and do it the Navy way...
We both know, there is the right way, the wrong way, and the Army way...
But the best kept secret...is the Navy way...A girl in every port...of course it can be the same girl in each port if you can convince her to follow...
When you go to sing, sing to her from your heart, don't even think about anything else.
Your previous dream girl was an illusion...or perhaps a bad case of vertigo that can confuse a pilot so... your real dream girl is still out here.
Hugging my pilot.

Hello again my pilot,
I think you got caught in the chat room's revolving door. We also have an invisible trap door from which no one returns until the next week.
Perhaps someone around here is butch enough to take care of repairing our doors. Gigi? Jo? Hellooooo? Our chat room doors are in need of repair.
Only Sadie should have access to the trap door lever.
I am glad they kept you grounded. Next week I will bring the tie down straps and chalks.
I will tie your props very well.
Hugs,Laurie
