Okay, the weather personnel said that it wouldn't start this mess until noon. So, I was up at 7 am with breakfast in hand preparing myself for an early morning run. After eating and suiting up, guess what I see outside? Snow.
I left on foot to the Y outdoor walking/running track. I figured that the Y would close soon, but I could still do the outdoor thing. I ran for 40 minutes. Since I've never used this track ( I normally run at the Lutheran college), I couldn't track my mileage. I've never ran in snow before. It was a different experience. To my surprise, the Y remained open. So, I walked back home and took my car back over to the Y. I was able to get my sauna time in.
After doing the sauna, the snow picked up. I was driving around and felt my car slipping a bit. So, I decided it was time to go home. LOL
When I arrived home, I was starved. I put two top sirloin steaks in the broiler. I ate both of them with a salad. Now, I feel like I could sleep. LOL
Here are some pictures. Just click the link below. Yahoo can be a bit troublesome at times, so let me know if you have trouble viewing the pictures.

Let's just hope this mess ends soon. Oh, I forgot to mention this. I was seen running outside by a representative of a triathlon group. They were having a meeting this morning. She asked me to join the club if I wanted. So, I may do so. Maybe.
Okay, better go. Oh, something else. I have the TV on because I'm waiting for the noon forecast to come on. There's this kiddie show on. Some character named Dora. They keep on saying..."It's your special day." I don't know if the smoke from the oven has made me high or not, but for some reason, this show is cracking me up. It is probably a good idea that I don't have a small one. There's this other character called Banana Bird. See what happens when you start getting cabin fever!

Hello bug, and yes, I had a feeling that you would get snow sooner or later. Oh, by the way the food shopping madness happens here in Delaware, too. I just didn't respond to your post yesterday, because I was too tired and I didn't want to be rude. Anyway, It's the absolute fresh air that causes you to be tired. That's a normal reaction. As much as you run, I would sign up for the triathalon, Go for it, lady. The pictures were absolutely georgeous.
Yes, I know the affect of cabin fever all too well, that's why it's a good idea to go out every once in a while to relieve the feeling of claustraphobia, I ought to know from experience.
If you do go out, make sure you dress warm, and build a snowwoman. Have fun while it's there.

Last year, we had an ice storm. And, no one could get their car out of the apartment complex. There's a slight hill and when covered with ice, it made it a bit difficult to get your car up the incline.
That's what I was worried over. I know that people up north have a much harder time.
