Sorry for my absence.
I took on a job that was bigger than planned. I left my equipment on site so I would not have to lug it back and fourth everyday. I was afraid I might hurt my poor little computer and it is my baby.
So I did not have access to the internet for a few days.
I did recieve many e-mails from people who were concerened that everything was ok. Yes, everything is fine. Thank you all for thinking of me, Sheila and her Dad.
I still have work to do on editing but must do it here at home without helpers looking over my shoulders. I have to edit for both hearing and hearing impaired so it is hard getting all the translations correct since the people doing the sign language were sometimes hidden in the video by people who forgot to stand on their tape marks.
I am trying to keep it smooth with what I have to work with on the sign language areas.
I also have had several VA Doctor appointments for my assault injuries. One of which has been getting worse and is now about to cause me the loss of use of my left hand. So I am scheduled to have surgery to try to repair it on Feb 15. I am hoping I do not chicken out of this surgery as the thought always scares me. I think I will have it done since my hand is starting to cramp into a claw like position and is just not attractive at all. I actually have to pry it back open at times. I dare not violate TOS with all the jokes Sheila and I have been thinking of with my hand in this position.
Oh and by the way our special night finally did happen.
I am so tired because it is almost 5 am and I need some sleep before going to counseling later today. It took awhile to answer all of my e-mails.
I am in awe that we have yet more changes here on the board, but I guess we just have to roll with it until the dust settles...
We are women here us roar in numbers to big to ignore...lalalalalalaaaaa.... How many of you will have that song in your heads for the rest of the day haaaa...Sorry...
Missed you ladies,
Laurie

Hey girl,
I missed you too.....now everyone will stop asking where Laurie is? :)
Sorry to hear about the surgery on the elbow. Ew do you really get to watch? IS your mom drving you? Here is a safety tip. I had surgery in and out too, and man was I still under the influence of the drugs. The drive home was funny, and they took me into the house feet dragging on the ground. My mom tried to give me coffee to wake me up. Not a good idea! After it's done, please tell mom not to take you to Star Bucks for hot coffee. Wouldn't want that hot stuff drolling into your lap.
BTW, are you right or left handed?
Seriously, I hope it all goes well and angels guide the doc's hands. Take care,

I kind of have an idea as to why it happened on my end lol...*Weg*
I'm just glad it did.
The drought spell has been broken for now. Glad to hear the surgery isn't so serious. I was picturing a team of doctors all consulting for weeks about your hand. Writer's exaggerated imagination lol!
Hugs,
L.
I am a writer too lafaye.
What are you writing or working on?
