Things are finally settling down in my life. I am officially divorced now. Normally there is a 90-day waiting period when children are involved, but our attorneys were able to waive the waiting period. I am relieved that it's over and I can move forward with my life. The hard part now is settling into the rotation routine with my DDs. They seem to be handling it well so far. I moved into my apartment this past weekend. I really like it a lot. It's bigger than I expected, so there is plenty of room for everything. My parents got me some new furniture, and my mom came up to help me unpack and set up. I've got a cozy little space. We spent the weekend putting furniture together. The girls have new bunk beds with new bedding. When we're done it's going to be adorable. I want them to be excited about their new space. I can't wait to get totally settled, so I can relax and enjoy the apartment. I will probably have to go spend a night or two at Caly's though. I miss my "real" home.
That's about it for me. Work is keeping me extremely busy, and I am eating like a pig! I haven't exercised in about two months, and it's beginning to show. My apartment complex has a fitness room, so I'll be visiting it a lot in the next little while.
Hugs to all and thanks sooo much for all your support!

I am so happy for you Ting. I am glad the girls are doing well and that you have your mother behind you. That is so nice! I know the divorce was hard, I just did it too - and even when it's the right thing it just doesn't feel good. I don't know how else to say what I feel about that.
Don't worry about gaining a few pounds, it happens *wink* I am sure you will be back to your old self in no time!

Glad to hear things are settling down for you.
Moving in itself is always stressful, but setting up is the exciting part isn't it?
Sounds like it will be a very cozy home for you.
Let me know if you actually get to the workout room, I have one in my house and still find it hard to get back to it lol.
Think I will hang a twinkie out front of my treadmill for motivation. Haaa.

Hey Ting,
Congratulations, on the divorce, the apartment and the kids. I'm sure they will love their new space. What child doesn't like a bunk bed! I remember coming home after my divorce/disillutionment; I put my check book on the counter and started walking away, then I went to grab it like always worried that he might get it. What a feeling when I realized that I didn't have to worry anymore. Woo hooo
Personnally, I never was sad....I have been ecstatic ever since. The only thing bad about my divorce, was when I left court, I went to eat with a friend, and the news came on. My divorce was on the day of the Oklahoma Bombing. That is the only reason why my divorce day will stay in my head. :(
You and Caly are going to have a wonderful life together. That's what is so wonderful about being a Lesbian.....sharing your life with another woman who understands and loves you intimately. Can we say yea for all the Lesbians on board! ;)

Hi Laurie,
Quick note,
I've had people who love to run behind me....perhaps I can get on a tread mill in front of you? Will that help motivate you? lol I think I'm slightly better than a twinkie...

Ting,
That sounds like a happy little place for you and the girls to be.
Carol, In love with the most beautiful woman in the world.
Scarlett,
I did the same thing....size 14 pre-divorce, I'm in a baggy size 9 now....
So far, I'm still losing, and I've been divorced almost 6 months.
