Okay, last week I got pre-approved to buy a new car. Ever since the 2005 Mustang came out, I've been in looooooove with the body style. A few weeks ago, we had one on the lot that was Windveil blue ( a new color that is so light blue it's almost grey). It looked awesome on the car. Unfortunately that car is gone, so I asked the sales manager to locate another one. He went to work at it, but could not get one within the 600 surrounding Ford dealers. All of the Mustangs allocated in that color with the interior package I want are already sold! *Whaaaaa. So, today I sat down with him while he ordered one. I got to pratically BUILD the car! Even though it won't be delivered for at least 6 weeks, I get the pleasure of knowing that the car was made especially for meeeeeee! I am going to have the exterior sport package (spoiler, tint, white "Mustang" stripe along the bottum, and premium wheels) and the interior upgrade package, and the price is a LOT lower than I would've expected!

WOW thats some car Sadie!

I'm a 'truck'/SUV' kind of Butch myself but of all the sports cars out there, I have always admired the Mustang even as far back as the 60s.

Wish you all the best with it and I do think the color is AWESOME!

Oh how I wish my fortunes have turned for the better! Lol. Actually, I'm saving about $200 a month by getting this car! How sad is that? My Explorer is a 96, 161K miles, burns oil so I have to buy t quarts every other week and it guzzles gas so I am filling up 3 times a week (at least) at $40 a pop! So, taking into consideration gas, upkeep and insurance, I'm spending about $700/mo when I break it all down. The poor old truck is also going to keel over and die at any given time :-(. It is in serious need of a new engine, but a new engine will cost more than what it's worth. I am getting a pretty kosher deal on the Mustang b/c I am a Ford Motor Co affiliate, and the rate I got was much better than I expected. I've seen customers with better credit than me get stuck with over 18% (I guess that's another perk of being in the business and knowing the people who are handling the deal). Even the insurance will be lower, believe it or not.

As far as my custody battle for sweetfeets, that's still going nowhere. Now that I'll have an extra $200 in my pocket each month, I'll be able to put that towards attorney fees. I have already been advised (recently) that the fight will be long, hard, and expensive - and that my entire life may come out in court. I'm not worried about the things I've done in the past or how my sexuality may come into the light, but I do worry about how good his attorney will be at fabricating certain things...Things are looking up though, I've managed to catch up with my debt since I filed bankruptcy late last year (another reason I was shocked at the interest rate and the amount I was approved at). I do take most of the blame in this matter because I still let the ex intimidate me.....~sigh. I haven't really talked about it much here lately, I don't know why really, maybe because the situation is still out of my hands for the time being and I've been falling into deeper depression as time goes by.....Oh well. Guess I better get back to work before I start bawling at my desk. Sorry - I didn't mean for this to turn into a self-pity ramble!

Thanks for asking though Kimmie. As soon as I anything new transpires I will definitely post an update!
