Hello.
This has been one wild and CRAZY week!
I've been trying to dig myself out of a blizzard of homework. I don't know how many of these posts I can read and respond to. But, I didn't want people here thinking I had just fallen off the face of the earth. LOL This week along I have read 8 chapters amongst classes. That doesn't include the homework assignments. They are trying to kill me in my last semester. I die slow though. ;)
On top of the piles of homework, I was stricken with some crazy itching disease. LOL For some reason around 2-3 am in the mornings, I would awake to a crazy itchiness on my legs. I would scratch and scratch....and scratch. After scratching, white bumps would pop up. The next morning, the white bumps would be gone. I became the joke at work. LOL My new nickname is "itchy." I bought Aveeno (spelling?). It didn't work. I bought hydrocortisone cream (spelling?). It didn't work. Finally, I decided that I couldn't do piles of homework and a full-time job without sleep. So, I made a doctor's appointment.
The doctor said, "You have hives." He gave me 2 weeks supply of Allegra. He told me that it could be caused by an allergy or for an unknown reason. The Allegra has worked. I can now sleep! Yay!
I thought the itching would drive me mad. One night, I thought that I would surely claw the hide off my legs. It is an itch I cannot describe. Whew! Nothing seemed to stop it until I took the Allegra. Thank God for that pill. LOL
At the community college, I've done my graduation packet and exit interview. Today in the mail, I had a letter and packet from a 4 year college in VT. The letter starts out like this..."We have heard that you are a motivated learner who has demonstrated academic success and that you are considering several options for your baccalaureate degree." During my exit interview, I stated that I was eventually going to try and obtain a 4 year degree. The exit interview was only 2 weeks ago. Wow, that's fast. I guess the college must share this information. Or either the 4 year college in Vermont is psychic! (just kidding on the last sentence)
They are psychic and I'm psychotic. ;) (picking again)
Okay, I must go for now. I'm hoping that tonight after doing more homework, I'll have time to respond to some of these posts. If not, do understand I miss the board and wish everyone well.
Big Hugs,
bug without the leg bumps ;)

Well while bug bites make me itch, I have never thought about an itchy bug..

Hives are no fun, I know that. Seem like the more you scratch the more they itch.
I can't believe you are already in this phase of school.
Do you think you will move to take a four year college? Might be fun!
I know it is a rough time for you right now. It will be worth it though.
Take care,

Hey Caly,
I've done nothing new except I used some spa products I received for Xmas. However, I used those 2 weeks ago. This all began on a Tuesday night two weeks ago. I used the spa products the Monday night before it began. I didn't use the spa products after that. So, I don't know exactly what has caused it. You would think after 2 weeks that it would be over? I put the spa solution for dry skin on my legs. My first break out was before bed. Then, over time I began waking in the middle of the night. Crazy.
Hey, on the bright side- if it was the spa stuff at least I didn't put it on my butt. LOL
I mean, the doc had to look at my legs. Can you imagine me having to pull my pants down and saying, "Doc, my butt won't stop itching!"

The scratching felt so good! It was like I couldn't get enough. Whew!
I found it to be strange that I had to do the graduation packet and exit interview so soon. But, I did. It wasn't my choice. There were deadlines. In my exit interview, I answered yes in wanting to obtain a 4 year degree. But, my immediate plans are not to go directly into a 4 year institution after May graduation. I would like to begin job hunting. I hope to find a better paying more rewarding job, settle in a new place to live, and spend some time getting social. I've not had much time to get social. I would like date some. Right now, I haven't the time to date really. So, that's why I'm not putting myself out there.
I didn't know that 4 year colleges/universities actually scouted (if that is the correct word) soon to be community college graduates. I'm a 33 year old woman. LOL I'm not a 18 year old with a high SAT score. But, I guess they see dollar signs with me as well as anyone else. I'm surprised that instead of it being a college/university in NC it was a collegein VT. I live in NC!
Anyway, I thought it was pretty cool sending little old me a packet and invitation to visit the campus. It is snow season are they crazy! LOL Burrr....Burlington, VT!

Heya (((bug)))! Okay, I posted to this sometime earlier but for some reason it never appeared. I waited awhile before reposting in case my puter was having a delayed reaction...I think I waited long enough, but if I do double post that just means you got extra (((((hugs))))) from meeee!
Anyway, I was just thinking of you the other night, wondering if you had fallen off the face of the earth. Glad you didn't, cause I'd miss ya! Wow congrats on that letter from the college! Even if you don't do anything with that school in particular, it should be a good ego boost to know that you have many choices!

I've been in a rather jovial mood tonight. As good as my butt looks, I still like to keep it covered. ;)
