Hello.
This has been one wild and CRAZY week!
I've been trying to dig myself out of a blizzard of homework. I don't know how many of these posts I can read and respond to. But, I didn't want people here thinking I had just fallen off the face of the earth. LOL This week along I have read 8 chapters amongst classes. That doesn't include the homework assignments. They are trying to kill me in my last semester. I die slow though. ;)
On top of the piles of homework, I was stricken with some crazy itching disease. LOL For some reason around 2-3 am in the mornings, I would awake to a crazy itchiness on my legs. I would scratch and scratch....and scratch. After scratching, white bumps would pop up. The next morning, the white bumps would be gone. I became the joke at work. LOL My new nickname is "itchy." I bought Aveeno (spelling?). It didn't work. I bought hydrocortisone cream (spelling?). It didn't work. Finally, I decided that I couldn't do piles of homework and a full-time job without sleep. So, I made a doctor's appointment.
The doctor said, "You have hives." He gave me 2 weeks supply of Allegra. He told me that it could be caused by an allergy or for an unknown reason. The Allegra has worked. I can now sleep! Yay!
I thought the itching would drive me mad. One night, I thought that I would surely claw the hide off my legs. It is an itch I cannot describe. Whew! Nothing seemed to stop it until I took the Allegra. Thank God for that pill. LOL
At the community college, I've done my graduation packet and exit interview. Today in the mail, I had a letter and packet from a 4 year college in VT. The letter starts out like this..."We have heard that you are a motivated learner who has demonstrated academic success and that you are considering several options for your baccalaureate degree." During my exit interview, I stated that I was eventually going to try and obtain a 4 year degree. The exit interview was only 2 weeks ago. Wow, that's fast. I guess the college must share this information. Or either the 4 year college in Vermont is psychic! (just kidding on the last sentence)
They are psychic and I'm psychotic. ;) (picking again)
Okay, I must go for now. I'm hoping that tonight after doing more homework, I'll have time to respond to some of these posts. If not, do understand I miss the board and wish everyone well.
Big Hugs,
bug without the leg bumps ;)

So, do you ever consider going out of state to a 4 year college, or just staying where you are and going to a university in your area? Are you attending your commencement ceremony? I didn't, I didn't want the fuss. As hard as I worked, I should have went, but I didn't. I just went into the graduation office and signed for my degree. snore.
Well, thanks for the update I was worried.

Actually, the Allegra has stopped the intense itching at night, but it hasn't stopped the itching all together. Thursday night after night class, I began scratching on my legs. The bumps this time were red like I had razor burn. But, 10 minutes afterwards, the bumps disappeared. So, I still itch some and breakout but it isn't nearly quite as bad. Plus, I can sleep now. I guess you could say the Allegra isn't a cure all, but it has helped.
My first plan after graduation is to begin job hunting. After I find a better paying job and move, then after some rest, I'll think about going back to school. I really want to begin dating. Right now I don't have time for that. I want to give myself some time to get social. Now, I will be job hunting anywhere and everywhere. So, if I get a job offer in Timbuktu, AZ and it is worth it, I'll probably move to Timbuktu. I'm still gauging on how well I'll deal with a move to a place where I know nobody. I am considering FL heavily because I have family there. Also, parts of NC are always an option as well.
Yes, I will be attending the ceremony. My mom is coming up for it. I've ordered my cap and gown. I've also ordered invitations. I'm ready to celebrate!
Thanks for the hug! I didn't know you would worry.

Yep, I was invited to join the best assets club. They said I was a cheek above the rest. And, it is true what they say about me...You can bounce a quarter off my asset.

Sounds like you are doing great in school..Yay for you!!
As for the itching, ooh that can stink.
Have you changed soaps lately? Laundry detergent? That can sometimes make you itch. I immediately thought laundry soap since it happened to you at night (the sheets and stuff..)
Hope you feel better and way to go on your school stuff.

Actually, no I didn't know that you would worry. :) Sandra, I type this in a kind manner, but you are a mystery to me. There a many aspects of you that I don't understand. But, I do know that surrounding all your mystery is caring side that you display often.
I hope you and Jen have a romantic Valentine's Day! :)
Yes, and I'll agree with you that I hope the hives behave themselves!
Hugs,

Thanks. I've done nothing new except use some spa stuff, which was a Xmas present. But, I only used it once several weeks ago. Who knows!
