Well, this is hard for me to admit but I figure if I say it to someone it's the first step toward change, I am a spoiled brat.
Tomorrow I start my new job, 8-4:30, answering phones, filing papers....my jeans days few and far between. Even though I am grateful for the job I have been so fortunate for so many years. All my life actually. Now I have to work, and budget money, and try to save. Everything has always been provided for me and now I can only count on me. I am not very reliable.
I am scared for the first time in my life. I cannot have what I want, I am having a hard time just getting what I need. I got a job just in the nick of time. God is good to me.
Well, tomorrow is the first day of my new life and I just wanted to come share my feelings. I have to go to bed, I have also lost the luxury of living on my own schedule, no more late nights.
Somebody shoot me please.

Sandra,
I'm so glad that all went well for you, and that you were able to control your fear. ;)
At first, I was hesitant about posting that for you, since I was all serious, and wondered if what I had to say to you was going to have some value... See how fear almost stopped me from doing a good thing. lol Fear is such an interesting opponent, and we all wrestle with it on a daily basis, in one way or another. I want to share with you my financial game plan for 2005. I carry this in my wallet and read it daily. I want this to become a habit in my life, and to make something a habit you must do it repetitively.
Major Definiteness of Purpose:
Become an RVP (you can out your own purpose here)
1. Control my mind: Have Faith-no doubt-no fear
2. Go the extra mile: In all that you do, extra always means more, and you can never have enough.
3. Use the Master Mind Principle: Simple enough here at the LL board. When we all support and offer ideas, we can become greater and stronger through each other. No man/woman can be successful on his own.
4. Procrastination and Faith have nothing in common: Faith without work is dead.
5. Time is always right for the person who knows what he wants and goes to work to get it.
6. Acquire humility of the heart: Don't be over impressed with myself.
7. "The greatest among you is the servant of all"
8. "No one is free until he learns to do his own thinking and gains the courage to act on his own personal initiative".
9. There are 24 hours in a day, use them wisely: 8 to sleep, 8-10 to work, 6-8 for recreation.
My recreation time I spend pursuing my dream. It is the opportunity to acquire additional education, (to improve your situation and move up), accumulate wealth, and render service and create good will.
Most people squander this valuable time....
When my business computer get's set up, I can do an FNA for you, it will help you with your budget and it's a written debt elimination plan that is simple to follow. Let me know. It's free okay?
I'm glad all went well for you at work. You never know what opportunities might come your way in the future. Keep your eye's and ears open, and look in every door that opens for you. Good Luck,

To be a pilot, you have to have confidence and overcome fear. You have your wings forever etched in you, now you can always fly. (Oh and yes...auto rotate you can do that too because you are a helo pilot.)
