Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhh! Out of all the networks I certainly expect diversity from PBS. Ugh...I just want to skip forward four years and pretend like the second Bush term never happened.
Well, the site also has a pole which I voted on. So far 41% think it is ok, 59% think it was wrong. These people have the brains of an Ostrich, sticking there heads in the sand, "If I can't see it, it's not there." Of course I cose to say sticking there heads in the sand to avoid violating TOS. Thanks Beth, for posting this.
Hugs,
Laurie

~sigh. Guess PBS won't be getting any donations from me or my family in the near future.....
I felt the same way as you TiNG. I remeber growing up on Sesame Street, learning not only my numbers but a little bit of Spanish as well, yes it is a diverse station.
I remeber at one time our local PBS station had a program that ran one night a week called "In the Life" that featured different gay/lesbian couples and thier day-to-day lives. Has anyone else seen this show?
I was kind of hoping that by posting this article here, the poll results would change. I just took another look at the results and they're still about the same. arrrrrgh!
