Sheila in serious car crash this a.m.

You never know how quick your life can be over.
Today we thank God that we insisted on buying our new car with side air bags. They say, that is what saved her life.
Sheila left for work this morning and was making a left turn through a green light when a car came speeding down the road and hit right into her door sending her car spinning 360 degrees. The side airbag deployed. A policeman just happened to be right there and saw the whole thing. The other driver was speeding and never hit his brakes.
They had to cut my sweetheart out of the car and take her by ambulance to the hospital.
They contacted my parents and I as we are her emergency contacts.
She has a bump on her head and a large bruise on her face and head, her wrist is injured but to swollen to know if it is broken just yet. She could not move her legs this morning but has since been able to move them and is now walking. After spending the whole day at the hospital they have decided to let her come home. She will have to go to her doctor. Her new car is totaled they think. Thank God for insurance. When she is able to go back to work she will get a rental or loaner car.
I am feeling so bad for her. She is always so strong. She could have been gone in an instant. I might have lost her forever...
This has made me think. I could not lose her. Not yet, not ever....
