I took this exam called the Praxis II today. It is required to get certified as a teacher here in Connecticut (and some other states too, I believe). It was a four hour exam (2 hrs to answer 110 multiple choice questions and then 2 hrs to write 4 essays)...and in my opinion, it was hard! I sat there in the room with all these college seniors who have just spent the past four years studying this stuff...and here I was, 11 years out of college and trying to think back on topics I haven't studied for ages! Yikes! Well, I definitely didn't ace the exam, but (knock on wood) I don't think I bombed it either. I have to wait four....long....weeks for the results to arrive in the mail! Ack! Crossing my fingers that I did well enough to pass.

I've got my fingers crossed too! Wow, 110 questions and 4 essays in 2 hours? I am impressed! I'm sure you did a terrific job if you were able to keep up with the college kids and feel positive about your results. I could not say the same for myself, that's fer sure!

Wow did you bring back memories! When I took the Texas EXCET? can't remember, lol, It was ten years after I graduated from college. My hands were shaking for that test. I passed and was given a life time teaching certificate for the state. If I passed, I'm sure you did equally well. It's amazing how much you retain! Good Luck.....and don't forget to breathe! lol
