I gave a coworker a ride home yesterday after work because her boyfriend had her car or something. She lives way out in East Jesus - definitely out of my way, but

((((((((((((Sadie)))))))))) Car problems and computer problems--two of the most frustrating problems on earth. I'm so sorry you're having to deal with both right now. Yesterday I had to have my brakes replaced and two new tires. Ouch! I'm glad you made it home safely though and good luck working it all out. Sending lots of good car and computer repair hugs your way...

I'm sorry your car broke. I know what you mean bout breaking down in the middle of nowhere though. I have had 5 breakdowns between my house and my dad's house. All 5 times with a different car and all 5 times in the same stretch of 10 miles. I'm talking right smack dab in the middle between our houses and the houses are about 150 miles from each other. The town I always break down in is called Rowlett. I have an ongoing joke that I am suppose to stay there or there is some force trying to keep me there. Actually, the last time my radiator hose broke like yours but the gages didnt work and I broke the car for good and it was a nice Trooper. Not anymore, thanks to me! I am sorry for you though. I am glad you can get it fixed. It really sucks not having a car! Hope your day gets better! Mandi

I feel your pain girl, I really do. The same thing just happened to a car I just bought my son not even 2 months ago, this one went all the way to the tranny though. So now I have 2 dead cars in my drive, a teen who needs to get to an awesome job, and I am at my wits end. I HATE cars!!

That STINKS!!! Sorry you have to deal with that stuff! I had the car problems recently and that is at the top of my list of worsts, along w/ computer problems, kids being sick, and me being sick!!!
I think the coworker should offer to drive you after what you did for her!!! That was really nice of you.

Awwwwwwwww Beth, I feel so bad for you. That must all be so frustrating.
Well my computer problems are all fixed so I guess we have good team timing anyway.
Hopefully we will both be up and running soon.
When will you be getting your new car?
You are lucky ex will fix your truck (if he does get it done soon.)
Just sounds so darn frustrating.
I hope you get the computer fixed soon too.
Big, big, hugs...

.......and the drama continues!

Okay, truck is still not fixed. Ended up paying almost $300.00 in parts so ex can fix it (which is cheaper than getting it fixed at work even with my employee discount), ex said he should have it done this afternoon. The thing that has me aggrivated now is that I'll only have the truck for another week - eta on my Mustang is 3/20. So I may as well be flushing this $$ down the toilet.

Also, friend was at my house until about 10pm last night, figured out what kind of virus I have and realized that she needed something from her house to fix it (lol, from these two dilemas, you can tell that I know nadda about cars and computers, huh?). Since she is off today, I gave her an extra key to the house so that she could go over there and work on it. Hopefully she'll have it all worked out by the time I get home tonight, which will not be until late because I have to get a ride from work to ex's house (over an hour away) and then sit there for an hour listening about ex's life (least I can do for his help on the truck) and then drive home (almost another hour away).

So, I'll be up late tonight, catching up on the board and posting away!

updating my sig, please bear with me!
