Today was my children's first day of Spring Break...they go back to school next Tuesday, is that soon?????

We went and played a little tennis and played at the park and went to Costco where we had delicious chicken bakes, yum, for dinner.

Sounds like a week full of fun activities! And I think I heard somewhere that you have a birthday coming up this week too -- could that be true?! ;o)

My kids' spring break is in April (and it coincides with my birthday, as a matter of fact), but my stbx gets them for spring break because I got winter break back in February. He plans to take them to Florida, so I'll be on my own that week. I will miss my girls, but I do look forward to having lots of free time to spend with my honey.

My kids are on Spring Break this week and also go back to school next Tuesday. They are spending the week with XH's parents. So, I'm having lots of free time with Caly, which has been soooooo nice! *smile I'm off on Good Friday, so we'll probably do something like go to the zoo or a movie. My parents are coming to visit on Saturday morning. The girls will get home on Sunday, and we'll do our Easter celebration with them on Monday.

Sounds like you have a very fun week planned, Scarlett. I'm sure they will love it!

HI!

I'm off Good Friday from work. I'm also off from my night class this coming Thursday. I don't have report back to my night class until 4/5. Yeah!

Since I don't have to work on Friday, I'm thinking about going to a $1.50 movie- Closer with Julia Roberts. :)

Cheers,

Hi scarlet,
Sounds like a fun week to me.
Almost like a birthday party if one were to be having a birthday. Not sure if you mentioned your birthday or not but I hope it is soon , that way you could do something fun with the kids like a pedicure or something, that is if it were someone's birthday or something like that maybe on thursday.
If it were someones birthday on thursday, your plans sound like a wonderful birthday thing to do.
I'm sorry, I thought you said it was someone's birthday this week. Haaaa.
It does sound like a fun week scarlet. I hope you enjoy it.
When is your birthday?
Take care,

Hi jules, sounds like you will have a fine spring break. It would be great if it coincided with your birthday to. Haaa.
We need to have a birthday bash for everyone. Maybe a little cyber piniata and party hats.
Hope you are having a great week!

Oh and speaking of birthday's, Miss ting-a-ling had a great present on her birthday. Not sure who these Spring breaks are for, the teachers or the students?
When I was in school we never got a Spring break, ever! and school let out a bit earlier in the year too though, but seemed to start a bit later.
I wish you a good weekend with the parents and caly.
