Here's an update on our adventures as baby lesbians! hehe
We went to the gay/lesbian bar I had mentioned in my previous post, and it was so wonderful. The atmosphere was relaxing and fun, and we felt totally accepted and "in" place there. THAT's the kind of place I think the social group should meet at. We're not much on hanging out at bars, but it will be a nice place to hang out and have a drink. Saturday night is dance night, but it doesn't start until 10 p.m., so we'll have to take a nap one Saturday and go. We're normally in bed between 9:30-10:00. LOL
Anyway, there was a woman there, probably between 65-70 yo who we think had the hots for me! When I sat down she looked over, then whispered something to the person sitting across from her at the table. Then, VERY obviously, the woman she whispered to (who had her back towards me) turned around and stared for a sec. When they got up to leave they walked by the table, and the older woman made a point of saying hello. That was an interesting experience!
The night was capped off by silly antics from Caly! After one beer she was feeling pretty good, but two really got her going! I swear she would have gotten up on the tables and danced if I'd let her! LOLOL She was hilarious!

Sounds like a very fun evening! Even the part when you were dancing to the tune of the dishwasher. ;o) Glad you two had such a good time.

What a great experience Ting...
Those special moments together are to be cherished. Your life certainly is grand now that your with the woman you love and waited so long for! I love hearing about your experiences. Watch out for those older women! I had one stare at me for a few months, and out of the blue, she waltzed up to me on the dance floor and asked me to marry her! Woah...lol

"Thank goodness Caly isn't hung over!" LOL
Our gay bar doesn't open until 10 pm either. Our bar is really into drag. They hold drag contests all the time. I think that I would go if I had someone to go with me. But, going by myself is something I'm not fond of. I've heard it is smokey and loud.
This would be more my style:
Tressa's Downtown Jazz & Blues Club
"Here you'll find a cross section of Asheville's community that has one thing in common-a love of hoppin' live music. Entertainment is provided almost every night and you will find yourself dancing to jazz, blues, salsa or even swing. The theme is New Orleans-you can feel it in the music and see it in the solid, long oak bar and the original pressed-tin ceiling. Tressa's Downtown Jazz & Blues Club is one downtown nightspot and hotspot that stays packed all night."
