Caly says "Hi"

Caly's having board withdrawal! LOL She just wanted me to say hello for her and hello from me too! We've both been really busy with work and kids. Caly finally has her work schedule sorted out. We thought she was going to have to go in to work at 4:00 a.m. several times a week, but she's arranged things so she doesn't have to go in that early at all. So far her only day off is Sunday, but hopefully she can add another day off soon

I'll let her fill you in more later. I finally have internet access at my place, so we both should be able to keep up a little bit more than we have been.

Hugs to you all!

Here's a bit more of an update on me. Work is keeping me very busy. I wasn't sure several weeks ago what was going to happen with my job. A lot of people in my office are being laid off, and I thought I might have to move into an administrative type position coordinating training schedules, locations, etc. I did that for two years prior to my current position, and I was dreading having to do it again. Fortunately, I'm going to get to stay in my position. I think within a year, the financial situation in my office will pick up again, so I'm feeling positive right now.

I spent most of last week trying to reconnect with my DDs. I didn't see them much at all during the last half of March due to our rotation schedule. XH had them over spring break, which included two weekends. DD1 has been spending an incredible amount of time at her best friend's house too, so when they returned after Easter I felt like I didn't know them anymore. It's been so great to reconnect and to have Caly here to be a part of their lives.

And, saving the best for last, my time with Caly has been incredible. Even though it takes us away from our computer time we have really needed to cherish and enjoy all of the alone time we get. We saw our first adult movie together this week (we've only been to kids movies with the girls), "Miss Congeniality 2", and that was a lot of fun. We thought we were going to have the whole theatre to ourselves, and we got excited about being able to make out...hehehe...but another couple came in during the previews. Thankfully, they sat down in the front of the theatre, so we still had the top half to ourselves! >weg<

Mostly on the days when I don't have the girls and it's nice outside we go for long walks with the dog, cook good meals together (of course, she does most of the cooking and I clean..lol), and relax in front of the tv. When I do have the girls we have fun playing with them at my place or taking them to the movies. My youngest loves to play hide and seek with Caly, except she tells Caly where to hide and then she tells Caly where she's hiding. It's really cute.

Well, I've written a novel. Thank you all for saying "hi" back, and thanks too for the song, Halo! It gave me a good chuckle!

Edited to add that we have some pictures from Easter that we'll try to post soon.

All is ok with me Pam, and thank you for asking. I have been attending school and I've been taking care of myself. I'm glad to hear that your home is coming together. I know that it's taking me a while to respond, but I have been going to bed early, well 10:00 p.m. for me is early, and I'm not usually able to respond until the next day, but I always keep you and everyone else in my thoughts. I really have missed you and everyone else.

Well, gentle hugs to you, and I'll talk with you and everyone else later.

Gigi.

Hugs,

Sebastian

I used to play hide and seek with my German Shepherd to keep her in shape for search and rescue.
She loved it, but never told me where to hide.
That is too cute telling you where to hide and where she will hide.
