AGAIN!

I just thought I would drop in and let y'all be the first to know!

I just recieved a phonecall from my PS office, explaining that the manufacturer of my implants are not only sending two new boobs (only one is ruptured, so technically the warranty only covers one) to thier office, but they're also sending me a check to cover the operating room and anesthesia!!!!!! Whooooohooooooooooooooo! Now, all I have to do is wait for the check, then call the office and schedule my operation! I'm SOOOOOO excited! Yipieeeee skipieeeeee!

For those of you who haven't been around long enough to know (or for those who have forgotten), I have had problems with my right implant ever since my drunken fall out of a deerstand 5 years or so ago. Both implants were replaced at that time, but only the one that ruptured was covered under the warranty. I had to pay for the other implant, the operating room and the anesthesia out of pocket. Soooooo, this is a REAL surprise to me!

Anyhoo, that's all. Just thought I'd tell y'all. Guess I'll get back to work now.

The first time was EXTREMELY painful. OMG, yes, I could not lift my arms more than three inches for a month, and for 6 months I could still feel a lot of pain! The implants went under the muscle as opposed to over the muscle, which really does give them a better, more natural look, but oh GOD! That muscle being stretched just about killed me! Oh, and the skin had to be stretched as well. I remeber waking the next morning (after the first surgery) and freaking out because the entire lower portion of my abs and around my upper thighs was severely bruised. I called the doc and was told that it was because of all the stretching they had to do on my skin!

The second time - yeah, a little pain but nowhere near the amount of torture I went through the first time around!

No, not changing the size. I like 'em the size they're at now!

Yeah, in hindsight if I could go back, I wouldn't have done it. I would have put the $$ to better use and still be a AA today. But oh well.

I'm just glad they're getting fixed! I really don't want to go on a jealous, killing rampage (as the L Word test forwarned *giggle) brought on by lack of sex.

As I told Lea, yes the first time hurt like hell, the second time was a little easier, and by now I'd think it would be old hat to me.

Really what I would prefer is to have them removed, but then I would have to pay for extensive reconstructive surgery if I don't want them hanging to my navel. So, for now I'll just keep them big and perky!

Okay Beth, if you weren't hunting (which I'm glad you were not,) then what the heck were you doing IN the deerstand in the first place?

Pretend ;-)

So much stays unknown 'til the time has come,
Did you ever imagine you could feel so strong,
And what you fear just turn into relief,
Yes see your doubt become your own belief,
Though tears don't come to cry some grief away,
The tears will help to keep your need at bay,

Whenever I get to surgery, which seems a ways off at the moment :(
