I was just wondering how everyones first date happened. Did you do the asking? Were you ask-ee? Were you nervous? Where did you go? And did you see that Lady again?

My first encounter with a female wasn't really a date. It was someone that I had known for a period of time. And it just kind of happened. We started out with it just being a girls night out (movies & wine). Then it just got more serious real quick. And I must say I liked it alot. All the guy's I've been with only try to get me and another female (together) - but I always refuse because I don't like to share what's mine. I guess you can just call me greedy.

Please post and tell me how your first dates happen.

LOL,
Angel

Hello Angel,

My first date was with an older woman, I was 19 and she was in her late 20's. We met at a softball game, we got to know one another, and until I turned 20, then we got serious. I would meet her at one of her friend's house, and that would be our "dating time". I used to hate it because I would have to leave and go home (I still lived at my mom's at this age). As I became older, and had a little more freedom, I would go the the local gay bar, and I would meet a variety of women, but I only seriously dated one. One particular date turned out to be a one-night stand, but that was fine because it by mutual agreement.

But, as I became more selective, I met this one woman, that I've been "dating" for years now. I asked her if she would like to come back and meet me at the bar, and she said that she would have to check her calender. Well, I kind of figured that she was just being nice, and I told her that it was ok if she didn't want to see me again. But she said that that wasn't it, she just had to attend to some things. So we made a date to meet back at the bar, and I waited, and waited. After a while, I just figured that she wasn't going to come, until I felt this nice gentle hand on my shoulder, and I heard this soft, "Hello" in my ear. I turned around and noticed, that the people that was around her moved away, as if they were the Red Sea being parted. I reached for her hand and picked her up, and placed her on the dance floor and we started dancing. And we've been having that "dance" for years.

Thanks for the wonderful memory.

Hugs,

Sebastian

That sounds so nice. It sounds just like the movies. If it's as good as it sounds hold on tight and don't let go. Thanks for giving me some reasurrance that there are good ones out there somewhere.

Wow

Something really freaky I just divorced a Jeff (best thing I ever did). Now I'm totally done with trying to please everybody else (family/when are you going to get married - You need to find a nice man...). I moved away very young and did my own thing (family doesn't know I prefer a woman). I think my dad may know though (he is gay and I meet him when I was about 18 - he lived in New Orleans at the same time I lived there).

Anyway

Did you two talk over the posting or e-mailing each other private and then set-up meeting each other? Or did you know each other before hand? I happy for you - that everything worked out. I hope you find alot of happiness.

Long distance talking/relationships are the pits. I'm glad that you hung in there because it looks like it paid off. Talking over the phone is nice but being close enough to touch is even better. Take care of each other.

You're welcome, Angel. I'm completely devoted to this woman, even thought she's not ready to settle down, but yes there are good women out there.
