I think I hurt myself really really bad

I'm never wearing a skirt to work again as long as I live. They're nothing but bad luck to me (remeber the windy inncident).
I mentioned yesterday about the pain in my neck and shoulder. This morning it felt a little better but as the day has progressed, it's starting to throb again and I cannot turn my head to the right.
I completely forgot about this about an hour ago when coming in from lunch, I noticed a salesman and two managers in an argument with a woman who took delivery of a car two weeks ago. Her funding fell through and we have been unable to retrieve the vehicle. For some reason she showed up today, apparently on foot. I do not know the events that built up to what happened next, I just know that she suddenly took off running. Instinct kicked in - I don't know if it's my competitive nature or the dog-that-just-has-to-chase-the-cat reaction, but I hoisted up my long, tight skirt with one hand and tore off down the street after her (I am also wearing strappy three inch sandals). I could hear the guys behind me hollering after me, but I was already going. I did pretty good considering my wardrobe and physical condition. I was able to keep up with her until she got to a car that was parked several blocks away (not the car we're looking for) and the driver took off.
Once I realized I was not going to catch her, I turned around and was amazed by how far I had run. Fortunately the shuttle van pulled up and gave my panting, pitiful self a ride back to the dealership.
I got a butt chewing from my boss, who wanted to know if I had lost my mind. What was I thinking? What would I / could I have done had I caught her? What if she or the driver of the car had a weapon? Blah blah blah blah blah. She even said she had half a mind to write me up, but didn;t. And now three service techs and two salesmen have asked me out in the last 15 minutes.
I am sitting at my desk thinking about going to the ER because if I thought I was hurting earlier, that chase sure didn't help. I cannot move my head right or left now, and my entire right side feels like it's on fire. *ouch* is not the word.

I have to say sorry first for your pain that you are having. Now since I did that girl I would have paid a million $ just to see you running after her. You ae too funny. I found myself laughing out loud (not good) I'm at work and everybody is looking at me now.
About you pain - I have had the same thing happen to me on different occasions.
1. Sinus infections - If it's really bad (and you may not even realize you have one) will effect the muscles in you neck/shoulders/etc.
2. Nerves - It happened to me a week before my wedding. My doctor said it was my nerves causing it to happen.
3. Typing - While at work do you have to look you while typing and how often do you do that in a day? I'm a typist - The doctor said I was straining myself looking at the computer and typing. I had a block built on my desk to place my keyboard on so I'm not strained.
I hope you feel better very soon!
