My test results...
| Thu, 06-02-2005 - 10:07pm |
The MRI didn't show anything new compared to the one I had 18 months ago... Not exactly what I was hoping for. I was hoping it would show the cause of my back pain, or at least why I was bleeding so heavily for so long.
My blood work results came in the mail today. Fasting blood sugar level is normal (101... normal is up to 110), and my thyroid is normal, but my cholesterol is a bit elevated.

(((((Ginny))))) Sorry the results are not quite what you wanted to hear.
I hope you rested well.
Thanks for letting us know about your MRI. Sorry it didn't deliver the results you were hoping for.
I know what you mean about the nice cool weather. I asked a coworker one day on my way out to do my break walk..."Is this June?" I want it to be hot. I know that you don't like hot weather. But, I'm a big fan of sweating. I just don't like the creatures that reside of some warmer climates. :)

I hate to say it, but I had to have an internal ultrasound in order for them to find my female probs.
I have to have everything out when my heart is pumping enough blood out.
The lady who did my ultra sound looked about 90 years old, she had a real deep smokers voice and seemed to be in a foul mood. She was looking on the screen while she was shoving that scope around inside me like a jack hammer, and finally she said, in her deep voice, "Well there's your bleed." She had this attitude like it was all my fault she had to get up and come to work that day... like she was thinking, "ahhh great, there really is something there, now I have more paper work to do."
She had tools all laid out like an automobile repair shop. I honestly saw her use a thing that looks like the tool they use to do oil changes with. I felt like I was up on the lift.
I wanted to ask some serious questions, but felt to undignified to think anyone would take me seriously. So I tried to make a joke, you know break the ice a bit... but she did not laugh, there I was... in the most undignified position a woman can find herself splayed out, and my joke bombed.
Just fell flat as a pancake.
I swear... I will never have stage fright again, any audience will be a piece of cake compared to that day.
Well, I don't want to scare you... just thought I would share.

Sheila was with me. After that we could not stop laughing. Finally the old bat started being nice.
When my joke bombed I gave Sheila my "oh, oh, look and we just started cracking up.
I can't even think of the joke now, it was a spure of the moment thing.
