Tonight,...finally after much begging and pleading, my co-worker took me out with her and her g/f to the local gay club. We actually went to 2 of them, but the first, I had been to before and it is a small place.

I am assuming all the judges were men who liked Barney Rubble looking guys. haha.

Sounds like you may have felt a little insecure b/c you did not have a special lady on your arms like everyone else. Don't let that get to you. Relax, be Lea, have fun - whether you're there with a date or stag - and you won't appear so "out of place". I actually prefer going to those places stag! And I've also been known to dance with a few of the guys (the queens

Lea,

He sounds like he might of liked you. But if he was looking for a date he should of went to a straight club. He might of been hopeing you were bi. Just keep going out. Keep mingling with people. You could really meet some nice people who could turn out to be really good friends.

Lea,

Too funny getting hit on by a guy! Don't worry it does get better, keep going out and smile that pretty smile of yours. It takes time for people to know you and you will make many new friends to fill your life. Just pass up the man and let him know you are unattainable. It's all about you girl! ;) lol

Hey lea,
Relax, we all had that look when we first went to a gay bar. He probably confused the "omg I'm finally home," look with the "omg, what is this look?" The latter can be missunderstood as a straight girl in a gay/lesbian world.
Also you could have mixed a female identified as male up with a real male. But, probably not. Just remember ....
when in doubt look for adam's apples.
Well, it sounds like you had a pretty fun time anyway. I think you will follow the path we all do.
The more you go to the bar the more you like like you invented the lifestyle. Seems that way to me anyway.
Take care and as they used to say... just roll with it!
