Scribbles~
Morning girlfriends and lovelies alike *individual hugs to you all*. Hope you don't mind if I share a ramble with you about my trip home. Last Jan I booked a trip back to MT, in the most ardent hope that I would be attending my son's graduation...

Nony,
That was so sweet and such a pleasure to read on a Monday morn. Thanks for sharing and congratulations on your son!
I hope that next year I can say the same for my son. We gave him the option of having a very light load and taking a normal diploma, he opted to take a heavy load. One summer school course that cost $250.00, English 12, trigonometry, Japanese three, world history, (biology two and English 11 on line). We pleaded with him and he still said he wanted the advanced diploma. All I want is to see him walk across the stage with his peers in cap and gown! ;) Gotta love his determination....sigh

That was a lovely update. It's so good to hear more about your and Lou's lives these days. I can imagine that the family reunion was wonderful. Sounds like you made every minute count. You are so right in that home truly lives in the heart.
Congrats to your son on the diploma!
Hugs to you and Lou,
I am happy for your Son that he did it!~

Check out my
I do remember you telling the story about your daughter.
Happy to hear that the dust has settled from that.
Glad to hear that your son made it on time to graduate!!!
I remember being in the Navy and living in Spain for 4 1/2 years. I only got home a couple of times and it was all like you described, but, it was also good to get back to my home and girlfriend back in Spain. I guess because I really lived there and worked there and had my own place, friends, and lover that it just became my home and felt good to get back to it.
this is sort of stupid and I don't know why this even made me think of it but here goes.
While stationed in Maryland I had to conduct a lot of my military business in Washington D.C. at the pentagon. One day another woman and I had to use the restroom before conducting business, we both had our hats off as is required indoors, so we hung them on the hooks of the stall doors, quickly she said, "Wow, they say home is where you hang your hat." Guess you had to be there. But, we had to go there so often for military business.
Well, I am glad to hear you are home and tucked in safely. Please do post some pics. I would love to see your garden.
