surgery was okay

Had the surgery yesturday. The information they sent to me in the mail made it sound very bad. I was really ready to call and cancel my appointment - but my mother wouldn't let me - in fact she drove me there and sat in the waiting room to make sure I went through with it. It wasn't too bad. I just felt when the doctor numbed me (with about 15 needles). Other then that I didn't feel a thing. She gave me very strong meds. that had me knocked out all day yesterday. I'm trying to hold off from taking them today until I really need to. Thank you all for all your prayers and good wishes they made me strong enough to go and have the procedure done. I go back in two weeks for the results from what they toke out of me. She (the doctor) sent everything away to be tested. She said that three of the four biospys taken before were bad - she said ten years ago they would of called it cancer. So she wants them farther tested to make sure they aren't cancer.

Glad you're through it okay and that it wasn't as bad as you were expecting, Angel. You just focus on recovering now, okay? And keep us posted on those results.

((((((((((angel)))))))))) So, happy to hear from you. I will be hoping the best for the biopsey. Do not let the "C" word get you to far down, at least not yet. Cancer is not always a death sentence these days. My mom is a survivor and so far Sheila is a breast cancer survivor too.
I will hope the best news for you, but will be here if it is not good news. There are also boards on Ivillage for things like this.
In the meant time, rest, relax, and please keep us posted.
Love you, and sending many healing hugs.
Hugs,
Laurie
