I actually read this online and thought I would post it here as well...very good info
In Case of Emergency
In the light of recent events in London, I thought this is worth to be posted
"In April, East Anglian Ambulance Service launched a national "In case of Emergency ( ICE )" campaign with the support of Falklands war hero Simon Weston and in association with Vodafone's annual ife savers award.
The idea is that you store the word " I C E " in your mobile phone address book, and against it enter the name and number or just the number of the person you would want to be contacted "In Case of Emergency". In an emergency situation ambulance and hospital staff will then be able to quickly find out who your next of kin are and be able to contact them. Your contact may be able to provide information that could help medical staff.
In recent a study, Vodaphone found that most people don't carry information on who to contact in an emergency, but virtually everyone carries a mobile phone.
It's so simple that we can all do it. So please do.
You could also forward this to everybody in your address book, it won't take too many 'forwards' before everybody will know about this and it really could help or even save lives."
