It has come to my attention that the Lavender Women Community Website will be taken down within the next couple of weeks due to inactivity and outdated info.

How about a page listing blogs of interest? (this isn't a shameless promotion of my blog, which has gotten me in a lot of trouble on this board.)

Good suggestion Gigi... the vocabulary page is a wonderful resource.

Yes, good ideas Kim,
I hope someday we can put that blog spat behind us. I have by now. ; )
We do plan to put the details for the meet and greet on the web site too and I do love the vocabulary words.
A photo page would be nice too I think.
I hope we can also list GLBT groups, etc, that people can call on for info in their areas. The Gay Pride Inc. types of things and numbers to call for people who are just getting "Out" and could use info in their areas like places to go etc.
The blogs and book reviews would also be very nice to have as well.
We can also add and update as we go if people come up with more ideas.
The political info is important and maybe will be able to capture more people's interest as it would be there long enough for people to read it.
Hugs,
Laurie

It's all water under the bridge, and I don't have a grudge or a dog in that fight anymore. I just wanted to make the distinction between these very interesting, very well written lesbian blogs (which I think most would find interesting, enriching, and enlightening) and my own personal blog.

Good luck with building the web site.

Just wanted everyone to know that I have not forgotten about this. As soon as my puter is online at the house, we will get moving!
