Utah Woman Can Keep Gay License Plates

SALT LAKE CITY -- In an unusual gay rights case, a judge said Utah can't keep a woman from using her license plate to tell the world "GAYSROK."
Elizabeth Solomon wanted the license plate -- which can be read "Gays are OK" or "Gays Rock" -- and another one saying "GAYRYTS." The state's department of motor vehicles had told her no. But an administrative law judge sided with Solomon, saying no reasonable person would see the plates as offensive to good taste and decency.
The state is considering an appeal, saying the decision opens the door for people to make license plates a public forum.
Solomon said the decision is a victory for her daughter, who is gay, and for two gay male friends.

Well, at least we can express ourself, and no can deny us our 1st amendment rights.
