What would you choose?

If you woke one morning with your fairy godmother standing over you giving you a choice to be re-born again - being able to plan your life out step by step - would you? What would you plan for your life to be like? Or would you stay in your life as it is now? If you planned to stay...WHY?

Great question!!
Some people say we already did plan our lives out step by step.
I would not want to do it all again, but I would be tempted to take over the reins now if I were offered the chance. Silly me!
I'm sure the plan in place is perfect, but knowing me, I'd mess with it!

If you woke up one morning with your fairy godmother stand over you, giving you a choice to be reborn again - being able to plan your life out step by step, would you?
Ans. Well, no. Because knowing me, I would mess everything up again.
What would you plan for your life to be like?
Ans. If I could, I would be a little bit more comfortable.
Or would you stay in your life as it is now?
Ans. No, I would make the changes necessary for me to be happier and more comfortable.

well once I got done with the words that wouldnt be allowed here.... lol... I wouldnt choose to go through it all again. Heck it was hard enough the first time and maybe I have learned things along the way, made mistakes I wish I could have taken back etc.. that's no guarantee I wouldnt go and make different mistakes if I took a second bat at it. Also, the world has changed a lot from the one I grew up, lived and learned in... the lessons I learned as a teen probably wouldnt even prepare me for being a teenager in this day and age etc etc, and besides wouldnt that mean I would have to associate with my mother again?! No thank you!! I know it doesnt seem it at times but really, I am happy enough with the life I have now....
(good Q btw)
Interesting question Angel:
I would be reborn again. (not to be negative--I'm sure some may take it that way) But, I feel very limited in my life now. The dating prospects are virtually null. I've come to try and accept my life as just being alone. And, I don't really know that I'll ever obtain a date with a woman. In social situations, eventually you must lie or tell that you are gay. I live in a small city made up of old money and that type of revelation is not always very popular. I've lost friends before when they found out. I could go on and on. I think you get my point.
If I were reborn, I would choose a straight life. I think I would choose to be married with kids. It is the opposite end of what my life is now and I think it would be neat to wake up every morning to a family.
take care,
rj
Good answer Jo!! Life has taught you very important lessons. And even though you have been through tough times you know they were important because you learned from them.

I very sorry your not happy in your life as it is. But being straight and married isn't always a happy thing. I tried to live the straight family life. And it wasn't a big bowl of chips for me. Just because your straight it doesn't make you any better than any body else. And if your gay it doesn't place you into a lower class. (Fact most G/L I've meet have been very high class)
RJ - your you!! Your lovely in your own way!! If people cann't accept you for who and what you are than you don't need them. Be happy with yourself. Love yourself. Positive energy brings positive energy.

Jeanine,
I like your answer Too!!
I'm like you I wouldn't want to go back in time to birth. But maybe now I would us some of her magic to get/change a few things. I wouldn't want to change my life so much - just a little. But like you I would be afraid I'll mess it up some how.LOL
Angel
You don't need a fairy godmother for that!
