Hello there again, this your resident nut speaking, I've got too much time on my hands.
With all of the technology that we have today, like for example, email, spellcheck, cut and paste, and all of the other advances that we have at our fingertips, do you still use the dictionary, regular mail(snail mail), putting two pieces of paper together with staples, still write with a pen, pencil or crayon? LOL!
For me, I like writing letters, and to tell the truth, I know I've misspelled words, so me and the dictionary are relatively good friends. I personally like the personal touch behind a letter or card, and not just from my honey. And stapling paper together is a great way to exercise the hand muscles, all of that squeezing, (gotta keep those hand muscles strong, for squeezing soft things, hey, don't look at me like that!). Not to mention, putting that letter in an envelope and sealing it, with not only your saliva, but perfume or colonge. Ok, I'll stop, but you get the picture right? Anyway, thanks
LOL!

Thanks Amy, I've noticed that my handwriting has gotten really bad, but sometimes when quizzes are posted, and when I have my result, I like to write it down, and then type it.
Thanks again.

I can agree with that, I like writing love letters, and putting my favorite cologne on my handwritten letter. And give it to my girlfriend.
Thanks Ev.

I love the old fashioned way of communicating.
Pieces of My Life
Thanks Pam, I've always like the idea of sitting down, with pen and paper, and composing something personal. Even though I would be a lot quicker by email, it just seems so, for lack of a bettter word, cold.
Thanks again, Pam

I write and send snail mail to my Dad and some of our older family members because they prefer it and not all of them have computers. My Dad has a computer, but prefers to get "real" photos and "real" cards and letters.
I think I have a paper fetish. I have to always buy paper and notebooks.
I also love to buy card stock and make my own greeting cards using photos and scrapbooking supplies. They look even more beautiful than some of the ones you buy at the store.
And ting, may I suggest to your daughter to use scrapbooking types of glues, sprays and tapes. Also, she can find all kinds of decorating things in the scrapbook stores for her books and cards etc.
She sounds like a fun kid. I would be sitting right along side her making things too, Lol.
Anyway the scrapbooking materials and adhesives are easy and fun to work with and I bet she would love all the decor and embellishments for her creative side.

"That just goes to show how big an influence cyber space has on some of us I guess".
Yes, I can agree with you on that, Sadie.

Hi!
Thanks Sheila, I've just been thinking about the fact that even though the computer is an excellent invention, the most important thing is to keep in mind that, even something as personal as a handwritten expression, no matter how simple it is, it's important for everyone to be able to express themselves by writing, and creating something without the use of cyber technology.
Thanks!

Sebastian
