Caly is home

It's been an ordeal, but so far the results of the colonoscopy are good. She had a tremendously difficult time with the prep last night, and we didn't know if she'd complete it. But, she got through it. She went in at 9:00 for the procedure but didn't actually have it done until around 11:00. We both got frustrated waiting. I, of course, spent the whole time in the waiting room but fortunately had lots of reading material. She was not pleased with the doctor's office or her doctor. It felt like she was being herded through the process without much compassion from anyone.

But, I digress...due to a slight complication (nothing serious), the doctor wasn't able to complete the colonoscopy, so we had to take her to another office for an x-ray. She doesn't have the results of that yet, but so far everything checks out ok.

We are really glad to be home. She is going to rest this afternoon and refuel with some food and liquids. And I'm sure she'll be back on the computer soon!

Thanks to all for your positive thoughts and prayers.

Hugs,

Hey Ginny, I'm glad that your procedure went ok also. Anyway, I did read your blog and it's not boring. I tried to leave a comment or an email, but it didn't work or I couldn't figure out how it could be done.

Take care and make sure you don't get infected.

Friendly hugs!

Hugs,

Sebastian
