My friend asked me a question and now I'm confused. She asked me if I consider myself Bi or Lesbian, that got me thinking.

I'm going to try and put this into words, so please excuse any rambling.

In my mind I don't consider, at all, what is between anyones legs. To me, attraction happens in the mind and heart. I'm attracted to honesty, loyalty, humor, empathy, kindness, and

I think anytime we try to label ourselves or put someone else in a 'little box' we open ourselves up for frustration.

Each or us is unique and an individual and I could never label myself with just one word.

Just by the way you describe I would have to say you are an AWESOME person. To be that open minded that is a person who is true to heart. I am on the same level as you are on this. Just never thought I would hear that from someone else. I tell everyone I am just me, no titles needed. It works too. GT2

Well, Wobin,

I don't think you have a label, personally. I think you just like those qualities in the man or woman that crosses your path. I can agree attraction does happen with the heart and mind, in my opinion that's what's called love, what goes on between the legs is just a physical response to the two things that can't be seen, the mind and the heart.

I just think that you are you, and that's why I think you are a good friend.

I thought I would share my opinion.

Hugs!

OMG, y'all made me cry ! You ALL are awsome people whom I love from the bottom of my heart.

LOL, I sent out an e-mail, a bit back, and it asked to discribe me in one word. My brother wrote back "You" ... I guess that says it all :) !

Thanks & hugs,

Robin

Your brother could not have said it better Robin.

As for the identity part - you don't have to put a label on yourself. Seems to me that you are the type who falls for the person, not the gender.

I agree with everyone else robin.
I also think there are many out there who are attracted to the person and not just the gender.
I don't think most people need or want lables.
Just be you. Be true to yourself.
Hugs,
Laurie
