Hi Pam, We had the same kind of storms here too, yesterday and lastnight. I know what you mean about feeling like things are brand new. It even seems my flowers and grasses have grown and stretched out some. They all look so renewed and fresh! We had wind gusts up to 60 mph, which made it even more exciting and cozy to be tucked away in our home. Of course we stayed of the computers because we cannot afford to replace them again for now, lol. Nothing like a good thunderstorm! I can imagine how cozy it would be with a tin roof...
Hugs,
Laurie

I'm normally not a summer rain kind of person because it leaves behind so much heat and humidity, but I'd love to get a good soaking right about now. We had thunderstorms last Friday for the first time in a very long time.
I love curling up on a cold, rainy day...and there's nothing better than doing it under a tin roof. Glad you feel rejuvenated and refreshed. I'm feeling better today myself.
Is it Wednesday yet? I think we need either the Lavendar or Butch fairy to wave their magic wands and make the heat go away. I'm sick, sick, sick of it!
We had our share of rain last night as well only it wasn't the pitter patter on my tin roof it was more like "smash" "crack" the sounds of trees falling on roofs and cars!
Heyyyyyyyyyyy, there, there now... The Lavendar fairy has heard your wish. Picking up a huge wand and waving it across the country, including the Gulf to cool things down so the hurricane will fizzle. This fairy hates the heat too. Right now she has her A.C. cranking so that if she opens the door a storm might form above her head!
Hugs,
Laurie

Where are you? We got hit pretty hard. Tornado warnings and watches. Wind gust up to 58 and 60 mph. Our street flooded. Lot's of lightening and thunder. We only lost power off and on. 7500 were without power for a long time. Nothing severe as far as damage in my neighborhood though.
Hugs,
Laurie

You are so poetic Ms. Nony.

At winds of 60 mph, I just might end up in your neck of the woods.
