Small suggestions I can give is to pray, focus on your work, let the hours and days pass by. But keep checking your email and phone messages.

Hugs,

Sebastian

Depends where they are... if they are near the coast, I'd be on the phone and on their arses (in a nice way of course)

Well, to be honest, Sheila and I were just talking about the three of you tonight concerning this hurricane.
I would ask them to just get out of there for the weekend. If they would not do it... I would pray hard and use work to help take my mind off of it, (not sure it really would though.)
This storm sounds big and ugly. I wish they would take that puppy and head for the hills.
Beth, please take Jo's brother and your puppy and money and some clothes, your laptop and toothbrush. and get out of the path of the storm. It is supposed to flood Huston as well.
At least you would all be safe for sure. If it misses you then you can just go back home.
How can we get you to leave there?
Hugs,
Laurie

The thing is, if the water does what they are saying, they will be trapped with no electricity food or water, etc.
Nobody can be safe from that. You can't fight nature!
Beth, ~R~, and puppy, please get out of there. You can always go back if it is safe right after the storm.
Hugs,
Laurie

Yes, and I have heard some major horror stories of people trying to get out and only going 30 miles from 8:00 lastnight to early this morning.
Is your ex staying there in Huston? That is scarey. I hope he and his brother and family there will be safe.
I would want to get out of there and then I would be concerned about running out of gas and or getting stuck in my car to close to the flooding.
Hugs,
Laurie
