Anybody else looking forward to Fall?

I say "looking forward to" because we're still getting warm weather and it sure doesn't feel like almost the middle of October--there was a guy laying out by the pool last Sunday. It was close to 90 degrees earlier in the week. I'm so fed up with it. I swear I get seasonal affective disorder when it gets too hot. Well, finally it's getting cooler here.
Football is in full swing, which has been fun to follow. I've got my pumpkin tablecloth out and fall centerpiece on the table. I've also got little miniature pumpkins sitting around and hope to add some gourds to the mix. Oh, and pumpkin scented candles are a must too!
Borders is serving my favorite fall coffee--pumpkin spice--and Starbuck's is offering their pumpkin spiced latte...MMMMMM. I will have to make a batch of pumpkin bread too.
I know I'm rambling. It's 3:00 here and I have another 1.5 hours left of work. Nothing is going on. I'm bored. So, indulge me...what are you looking forward to (if you even like fall LOL) and what are you doing to enjoy the season?

Hugs, Ginny! Hope we can all get some relief soon! I'm not quite ready for snow yet, though!
Yes, it does. Here in DE, it's been raining all week, but that's ok the temperature has been 53 degrees. I love it. We need the rain since it hasn't been rained all summer long. The Brandywine River, a historical river in DE, has been severly low. The rain would bring the surf in from the ocean. I'm just happy that the rain is falling, and very soon the leaves will be changing.
Hugs!

I cannot imagine running in 90-100 degree weather! You are truly an inspiration, Bug!
I love festivals, although we don't have too many exciting ones around here in the fall. Our dogwood festival in the spring is wonderful though. You'll have to come go with us sometime.
Here's to cooler running weather!
Geezzz! I'd be going mad! Hope it turns cooler soon.
Hugs,
I'm so jealous! Enjoy it!
Hugs,
At least somebody is getting cooler weather! I'm glad you're enjoying it. I love the gourd birdhouses. I might have to look up the instructions and make one for us.
Red buds are one of my favorite kinds of trees! They are gorgeous in the spring.
Football has been good this year. This past weekend was the Univ. of GA/Univ. of Tenn game. I did my undergrad work at UGA and graduate work at UT. I always feel so confused during that game--I don't know who to root for! LOL Usually I go for GA, but this past weekend I was hoping UT would win, mainly because I didn't want to listen to people complain about losing to GA.
So cute about Max! I just love it when you talk about the fur babies! Caly and I have decided we need to get Brandy a sweater or something orange/white for UT. I have threatened to call the groomer when she's getting a bath and having her nails clipped and tell him/her to stick a pink bow on her head! hehehe Caly would die!
Ok, now I'm rambling!
Hugs,
We have the mall t-for-t'ing thing here too. It works out really well and it's fun to see all the little kiddies dressed up. This year, DD1 will be a witch. This is her costume:
Where do you live? I can't remember. Glad you are enjoying the season!
Hugs,
Awww, Sweetheart...remember I'm here to keep you warm! ;-) Our winters here will be SOOOO much better than up north! I love you!
Tell us how you really feel, Halo! LOLOL J/K
I assume you are a warm weather person? I'll be happy to send all this warm air up your way!
