I already had my first sinus infection, I hate them. I usually just wait it out, this time I fought back a little with different meds I got at the hospital where I work.
I saw a cool tablet thingy on tv last night that you put on the floor of the shower and it vaporizes - I am going to give that a try next time. It beats putting vicks on your chest - ick.

We've both been hit by the cold bug. You know how there's always one going around about a month after school begins? Same thing happens over here.

Lou and I take zinc tablets at the first sign of a cold. My dad recommended this to me, and so far though we HAVE caught colds, their severity is way lessened, as is the length. I also take an antihistamine to dry up my nose.

We also load up on the hot drinks. They're so soothing to the throat.
