Well, to tell you the truth, this night owl, had company last night. And well.....weg! But afterwards, I was wide awake, but as soon as I turned out my light, and laid my head down, I was out for the count.
When I don't have company...weg! I'm usually doing something else, to keep my mind busy until I become sleepy. I very rarely take anything to put me to sleep, and that's a very strong rarely. I don't usually call folks after a certain hour, because of the reasons that you listed, and I don't assume anything. But usually, I'm open for phone calls at all hours of the night. So, if you need me to bore you to sleep, give me a call, and we can laugh, and you can get whatever is on your mind off, so you can relax and go to sleep.
You were wired, Halo! I hope you were finally able to crash! I have never taken any kind of medicine to help me sleep, so I have no idea how it works. Reading, cuddling, and sex are the things that work best for helping me relax and go to sleep. Sometimes I have to tell myself "You are not going to worry about (insert person, problem, etc.) tonight" and it works.
